Where The Hell Have I Been?!

I'M BACK!

It has been over a month since I've posted and I'm so sorry! I told myself I wouldn't neglect this blog and I have. I promise I won't anymore! 

So where have I been?

AT THE GYM. No, but seriously that's where I've been. And the usual taking care of kids. You're probably thinking, "the gym? What?" I'll tell you.

I've always been petite and for the most part I've been okay with it. I was blessed with good genes and a fast metabolism. But one day I looked in the mirror and wished I had more meat on my bones, that my family would quit teasing me about how thin I am. Now, I've had a gym membership for over a year that I've never utilized. I'd go here and there but nothing regular. I was on bodybuilding.com just browsing and there was a back workout being featured by Jessie Hilgenberg. It intrigued me so I clicked on it. I was definitely intimidated by the workout but LOVED Jessie's body. Since that day, I've been at the gym 6-7 days a week.

Fitness, getting strong, and filling out is my new obsession. I absolutely love the results that are happening. Everyone has their favorite day and mine is leg day. I went from no ass to ass in a matter of a month. 

The picture above is from my Instagram two weeks ago. It's been a struggle but I love it. It's definitely been helping with anxiety as well. I wasn't even able to go to the gym a few months ago and now I'm going every day. I've found something I love and have gone full force with it. 

So that is what I've been up to the past month. I'm on this fitness journey and encourage everyone to do some form of exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. I guarantee you'll feel so much better. I'll be posting a little bit more about it, including workouts I hope some of you try.
